Meet Van Jones
Somebody important, somebody worth knowing about, somebody worth listening to. Somebody who understands what New Energy is about to unleash, now that the tax credits have been extended. “We have all this work that needs to be done…That’s how we beat poverty AND pollution at the same time.” …Van Jones. I am involved in the wind energy industry from the grass roots perspective similar to your focus on kids. My community of Roscoe Texas is attempting to leverage the benefits of the wind industry here in Nolan County into reviving our town. One of our goals is to create opportunities that our young people can access at home instead of migrating to the city & compounding the competition for opportunities there. I know your focus is on kids from the cities, but I hope you understand the decline of rural America & the potential being presented to small towns by the existance of the renewable industry in our communities. I greatly respect your efforts for the kids. Thanks, Cliff@texaswindworks.com
